The wellbeing of our subscribers has always been one of our top priorities, and we value the trust you place in us as an official partner to the Fraternity.
As our government and communities work together to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we will continue to closely monitor ongoing developments and follow safety guidelines from public health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Moreover we have put into action our own business preparedness plan, which is intended to ensure service continuity while also working to protect the safety and security of our subscribers and colleagues.
Although we have always applied high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout our manufacturing and fulfilment operations, we are increasing our efforts to proactively clean and sanitize all aspects of our business. For example, in our overseas manufacturing facilities, per government mandated requirements, our workers are tested to be virus free and the workplace is sanitized as an additional safeguard. With regard to domestic fulfillment, we have implemented processes such as hand sanitizer stations, hand washing reminders, and disinfectant wipes as additional precautions.
Furthermore, it is our policy that team members stay home if they are not feeling well. In support of this, we are ensuring that all team members and guests are assessed prior to entering our facilities each day for relevant symptoms. At this time, no team member has presented with symptoms or tested positive for the coronavirus.
Nevertheless, in the unfortunate scenario that an extreme adverse event takes place, such as a U.S. government restriction that requires us to stop service, we will suspend all subscriptions and accordingly pause all charges until such time as we can resume providing you the subscription service you love and we love providing you.
For the avoidance of doubt, we have not experienced an interruption of service for the months of March or April. We intend to deliver your subscription boxes on time and without delay.
